Has anybody seen Elfen Lied? Just wondering.  Laharl, the Overlord of all. I rule Netherworld Restaurant as well.

I thought Elfen Lied was a very good show. It dealt with important psychological topics such as trauma, emotional abuse (in fact, just abuse in general), prejudice and the effects it causes, and how a life can really shape a person. It even went into issues such as pedophillia, murderous urges (especially so), and incest relationships (even though I think in Japanese culture, it's okay to fall for your cousin). It also had some pretty enjoyable characters and good animation. Oh yeah, did I mention the bloody violence.

Elfen Lied is really damn good! graphic violence, sadness, sorrow, bloodsheds, ecchi, name it! I also recommend its not good for minors!  |

if your studying in manila then I could guide you to a store which sells anime series for just 25 pesos per CD...its 2 episodes per CD but they sell it in box sets...walang "tingi" dun...most of my anime collections came there! |

@koganei hmmm.. 25 per cd? mahal na un!! ^^ nasa davao pa kasi ako nag-aaral now ehh.. baka pag-college ko dian pero siblings ko ksi dian nag-aaral.. college na kc cla ehh.. layo gap ng ages namin ehh ^^' I luv the psycho stuff and the blood and the gore..! Elfen lied ROCKZ!!! it is a good serise, blood, action, cool superhuman powers and PLOT. On another note, is anyone else reminded of Chobits when you watch elfen lied?

I've been hearing good things from Elfen Lied... but ecchi...? o.o I think it'll be ok. I've watched Chobits, FMP, Magic Users Club (not sure of the title) anyway, so it won't bother me that much. Yup, Rin-chan. It was first aired in Animax; that was previously channel 26 in our Paranaque cable. =3 They showed both the OVA series which starts with alien invaders, particularly those shadow-balls look-alike from Gatekeepers and the TV series with Bell transforming into a tree (sakura). Going back to Elfen Lied, I wonder if they're selling that in 2rats... because I would want to see it myself! ^_^ P.S.: Rin-chan, iwasan mo ung mga ganyan kaiikling posts... kasi tingin nila dyan parang instant messages, baka mapagalitan ka ng mga mods dito... ang masaklap, bawas points din yan. x_x; Meron akong nakita dito, nabawasan level nya ng 3 kasi ginamit daw niyang parang messenger ung threads. |

@rukia yup! I buy most of my anime collections at the quiapo area. its just a 20 minuite stroll from my school to the shop. hindi ko sa bangketa binibili un. meron talaga silang pinaka-storehouse nun. I think Elfen Lied is now available at 2rats and it is in DVD format... |
