and i was wondering if anybody knew of any literature either in digital form or preferrably book form that might be suited to beginners on the topic? something that covers general/basic ideas or at least the main ideas like relativity and such.

Yes I agree. If you can afford it (e hemm..or you can just download it), try the Feynman Lectures in Physics. He really answers some of the most basic questions, yet important ideas in general physics. |

I don't think physics is something that you can learn on your own. It's better to learn in a class environment. You can perform labs and make cool stuff. In my physics class, we have a hover craft and got to ride it. Anyway, depending on your age, enroll in a class. It's more fun. |

Hells yea, Feynman Lectures are my favorite!!! Kyari: if you were stranded on a desert island, and wanted to, you could deduce all of the basics of mathematics and physics given a long enough lifetime and sufficient materials to perform experiemtns. Also, reading books is an EXCELENT way to learn about physics! Sure, talking to someone smart is helpful, and there is no substiture for verbal communication. One must also place importance on reading. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
