It's an extended version of the final episode of Gundam Seed Destiny. In the beginning, there was a huge recap and the end was extended to about 10 min, giving a general idea of what happened after the war. By that, you can guess that I've seen it ^^  My Blog: Gundam Seed Plus ^_^ |

| a 3rd series of GS WILL be out, as for the extended version... it sets a small foundation for that with some development between kira/shin. Overall the majority of the episodes had some minor things added in, but its not really worth watching... just skip to the end |

but there are some things that were changed in Final Plus, like Athrun being with Kira when Gil died... anyway, like what i've said on randomc: I want more KiraxLacus moments in GS3! XD |

Final Plus felt like a half-hearted attempt on the writers part to salvage a series they botched up. I'm sorry, but frankly that bit between Kira and Shinn? That's the sort of thing that's supposed to have happened just after Shinn turned Freedom into spare parts. If you've still got all the epsiodes take a few minutes and just go back and skim through the first half of the series and watch how the focus goes from establishing a new protagonist to shuffling him under the rug and trampling on him in a shoddy attempt at making an ex-bake villain because fanboys whined and complained that Kira wasn't the main char. The original concept (as stated by the writers) was to establish Shinn as a darker hero. Ie. lil less whining, bit more buttkick but still a good guy. All they made him into at the end of Destiny was a whiny 'evil' Kira, and worse yet they broke their own 'physics' to beat him. ie. A high putput anti-ship beam saber getting sliced in half by a standard saber. Final plus was basically just going back over the same ill-concieved finale and trying to gain some semblence of dignity on it. What would've made Destiny truly awesome (and I'll bet good money it was the original intent) was that Kira was gonna take up the sort of mentor position. Still see crazy action and open up serious buttkick, but at the same time leave him more to the background as opposed to villanizing the heroes of the first half (or therabouts- granted we all knew Rey was gonna be evil). |

...err wow...Xeero that is exactly my point as well. Glad someone else sees it how it is. Sadly Sunrise has admitted that a 3rd series is in the works. I really hope it doesn't end up as a fanboy/girl service series like the latter half of Destiny. Destiny is the best example on how to screw up a good series half way through. Final Plus couldn't redeem the entire botched second half. |

I would not like a new Gundam Seed, look at it, the Archangel crew gets stronger every time, first Athrun, now Shinn... And not to forget the ultimate Coordinater Kira. And of course their Gundams... You have to think of a REALLY strong enemy to fight that, resulting the series in having ultra-mega gundams etc (in other words, not fun, and we all know Kira always wins) |

I love Gundam Seed Destiny because of Shinn Asuka, Rey Za Burrel and Gilbert Dullindal, Lunamaria, Stellar and Minerva. But I hated Gundam Seed Destiny because of Kira Yamato, Lacus Clyne and Archangel. That is why I didn't really want to watch the Final Plus of GSD. I don't want to watch the third GS, if THE ULTIMATE COORDINATOR and Miss Mary Sue Clyne is going to be in the show. |

I never watched the Final Plus coz'... i don't know... by the way, i'm the same with rook... i hate lacus clyne, kira yamato and also athrun zala... (i don't hate athrun in seed but started hating him in seed destiny since he has become and idiot and kira has become tha cool + smart guy)
i'm too busy to write a signature...

Of course i do like the in troduction of new 'blood' in the 3rd series if it came out.... Godly Kira is fine but little bit too fake <_> !! Lacus..... i wan her more !!! HAHA !! .. beauties is the best!! BTW I really hope the 3rd series will be more reality and advanced |
