| Aha, to tell you the truth, I've only watched the Mai Hime anime and I thought it was really great! Mostly in love with Akira/Takumi pairing though. They're so cute! |

Mai-HiME holds top-5 status as my favorite anime ever. I already preordered the first US disk with collectors box and t-shirt, to be released March 28. At first Mai-Otome sucked compared to Mai-HiME but it got better after the first three or four episodes. It still hasn't reached anywhere near the awesomeness of Mai-HiME though. |

| I've seen Mai HIME and I found it very good. I have seen the first 10 episodes of Mai Otome and the whole parallell universe thing is OK. I love the animation in both series, and the blend of music with each turning point scene is very good. I just hope Bandai doesn't screw up the dubbing on Mai HIME when it comes out. |

| Mai Otome is taking its time to reach the same success that of Mai Hime. However I like the story as it keeps us guessing on who the Princess really is. Mikoto as a cat is so funny :D |

i've seen Mai HiME and am currently in the process of watching Mai Otome... i must say that i don't think that Mai Otome is as good as Mai HiME, but it has the potential to get better... however, with all of the different subplots, i'm afraid that they won't be able to cover everything adequately. let's just hope that Mai Otome doesn't end the same way as Mai HiME!(endnote: why oh why did they choose to have Chie without her glasses in Otome? *cries*)

Honestly when they said they were going to make a second season of Mai-HiME I was really excited because I wanted to see if the characters returned or got their powers for a different fight or something.THEN I found out that it's not a direct second season it's just a paralell universe featuring a lot of the characters from Mai-HiME. Needless to say I was not pleased.When the episodes Mai-Otome were released on the internet I didn't watch it.I was only when they released the 12th episode is when I decided I'd give it a try to why ppl liked it so much.I'm still watching it.I think it's ok.I don't think it will be as great as Mai-HiME but it will come close.I'm just really glad they gave my fav. characters from MH important roles in MO. Also, question:Why do they call it the second season of MH when it's a paralell universe/spinoff kind of thing? |

First to White Mage they call it the second season because its one of titles that it was given along with Mai Otome. Basically its Mai Otome and not technically the second season. I think they decided to call it that because its pretty much the same thing with a different story line and a few new characters. Ok now ti Miko-chan's question. There are 26 eps to each season. Sorry if i sounded too forcive in my writing^^;; i don't actually mean to sound that way^^ sorry if i sounds kinda meanish. |
