Dreamweaver MX 2004 question- Plugins

well i want to put in a mp3 file into it, but to no valid. it says i got no plugins. anything i can do with it? |

I don't know jack about Dreamweaver, but you could convert the mp3 to a wave file if you don't mind file size. Maybe you could try other formats (wma, ogg, ra, etc...). |

well so where do i get the plugin? or are you trying to say that, if the file's wave it doesn't need a plugin? |

A wav file is one that has been nativly supported by Windows since 3.1, somehow I think dreamweaver will figure out how to use it. |

Yes, wav is uncompressed audio, so a four minute song could be over 100mb. If you're making a page you actually expect to put on the internet, wav is not the way to go. It's WAY too big even for broadband. I defer any other advise on this topic to someone else who actually uses dreamweaver, I've hardly even know what dreamweaver does. |

who said it can be? well even if you could, i think it'll be trial version. i am in some HTML competition so i'm supplied with a Dreamweaver from the school. |
