GANTZ [Japanese release only?]

A friend of mine came back from Japan a while back and told me that he sighted (but failed to buy, how lame) a GANTZ PS2 game. Has anyone here got the goods on this little morsel? I loved the manga (and to an extent the anime, OMGWTF ending aside), so I'd like to know if it's worth the trouble of hunting down.

I heard that there was a PS2 Gantz game but I haven't learned anything about it. I have all the English Gantz DVDs and I saw that the third volume has a trailer for the game. I wanna read the manga but...

The manga was scanlated by a bunch of people, including the Hawks, Omanga, and Shockwave. Shockwave and Omanga/the Hawks did a very nice job I think, save for a couple of parts and errors along the way. They're up to like, almost volume 18. It's just too bad there isn't a strong demand for some of the Japanese release games here except mainly as collectibles. Like, I had this same frustration over the Kido Shinsengumi Moeyoken game that came out a couple years ago (around the time of Samurai Warriors).
