php's
|
Hi, I tried downloading two songs, but they're php's, not mp3's, which has me confused. Winamp will play them, but for (obvious) reasons, I want them in the mp3 format. The songs are by Kotoko. I downloaded using Firefox, using the "save link as" function like always. Am I doing something wrong? |

What is so complicated about RENAME THE FILE HOWEVER YOU LIKE! I have recently made changes so that this should no longer happen. |

I did rename the files. Forgive me if you mean something different. It still came out as php's. I tried "Save file as" and it wouldn't give me a different option. Recently I downloaded a newer version of Firefox. Does that have something do to with it? |

No, most likely your windows is set to hide file extentions meaning that you can't change the file type just by changing the name of the file. To show extentions: (For Windows XP)In any basic window like my computer or my documents, click Tools>Folder Options. Click the "View" tab and uncheck the bottom box "Hide extentions for known file types". |
