This is a very nice anime which i spent only 2 days to finish watching it. Immediately after show, i went online to search for its information although it was already 3am. I realise that it is not popular AT ALL! I could not finish any website about the anime. So i was wondering if anyone knows about it? By the way, my favourite character inside was taiki..

| aside from twelve kingdoms or 12 kingdoms, you might be able to find it under the title juuni kokki. but since it's been licensed and released as dvds, you might have great difficulty finding downloads. |

| Hmm. I don't know about right now, but I believe KickAssAnime [KAA] used to have it on torrent. Although if you're in the U.S., you should really buy the DVD. =p |

| I loved this anime but don't recommend it to anyone. The way they ended the series in the middle of the story really angered me for a long time. |

| well, i watched it on television. the singapore channel aired it and i dun really understand it too. a bit too profound for me to understand and the subtitles provided by dunno which idiot is stupid |

Basically school girl becomes queen in a fantasy world. It has a mature feeling to it like Last Exile or Wolf's Rain. It deals with politics, corrupted governments, has some action, a lot of drama and character development. I liked it, but it has plot holes and unanswered questions, being based off an incomplete book series and all. It may be unknown, but it is highly rated.  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

12 Kingdoms...wow. very good series. ^_^ glad to meet the ever tiny fandom of this seres. to understand this series, it is required one has a good head and well, some intelligence. i really just can't imagine someone watching naruto & bleach watching this series and understanding it, though there are exceptions. XD anyway, if you're looking for the rest of the fandom, try livejournal.

Yeah. I've seen it. Basically it's almost like Fushigi Yuugi. The plot's almost the same. Naive girl gets chosen to lead. Naive girl arrives to another world. Naive girl is to be ruler. Naive girl has personal conflicts. Naive girl is not naive anymore. It has all the basic and famous of human emotions--jealousy, hate, love, etc... But I think, the anime's okay...The ending's to abrupt though....Wish there was a more calmer ending to it... |

i don't think this series is at all like Fushigi Yuugi. =/ and the plot is most definitely not the same.

It is actually quite simialr to Fushigi Yuugi in some aspects, just has a completely different feeling to it. If there is any part you don't understand I will be glad to explain it. Just be prepared because some explainations will answer nothing due to the fact that the series has plot holes in it and there is no explanation for somethings. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

Man I really like theis series ^_^. Whie I haven't got the whole series yet, the interweaving of so many lives and stories is very well done and the characters are also well done. |

| Its not my favourite, but i found it pretty good though. It wasnt particularly hard to understand, and i really like how the main character developed into a different person. about the only thing similar to fushigi yuugi was the fact they were chosen to lead a country in a fantasy world... but its pretty much different from then on. i've watched a set of 10 dvds but it doesnt seem like the ending to me... like they never finished the bit about Taiki... i've heard a rumour that it got axed because it wasnt doing very good.... but if anybody knows more about it, let me know :) |
