Just wonder what would ppl choose to play most often?? Final Fantasy or Soul Calibur??

its kinda unfair comparing the two... ff games need a lot of time for character development,to absorb the story etc and SC battles last a minute per round overall both are different genres both can be enjoyed for a long time but the thing is...ff ends for 30-50+ hours but SC (given unlimited opponents) can last a lifetime! |

I love both of those games... I choose FF for the RPG thing... I choose SC for the battle thing...

comaparing the two said games is difficult.... First off is that both games have different concepts.... FF games are story based and require time and patience to fully understand and absorb.... SC games are based on giving people a virtual beating.... But I prefer FF games.... though limited lifespan it sure is worth evry second of the game...  |

| they're both good, but it really depends on the type of game you like. soul calibur is fighting and not too much storyline while final fantasy is rpgtastic and centers around the story with the fighting just really being in there so it's not just a choose your own adventure movie. I guess i'd have to go with final fantasy. but that's because i think fighting games get a bit repetitive. |

meh.. Soul Calibur is an arcade game right? It's unlikely for them to be competing on different genres but well since I'm more of a RPGer then FF for me.  |

I've played both Final Fantasy and Soul Caliber in the past, and they're both really good. Although, I might choose Soul Caliber overall. I think it's more enjoyable to play Soul Caliber rather then Final Fantasy when you have friends over. Mostly all my friends aren't into RPGs, or mostly any games other then Need for Speed or Sport-ish games anyways. I'm not that into RPGs anymore myself, but I still think they're awesome. But other then that, I'd choose a different fighter rather then Soul Calibuer to begin with. ¯3¯

| I find it odd that one would compare the two. SC is a 3D fighting game series and FF is a turn based RPG series (not including spin-offs). |

dude, its a fighting game, vs a rpg. it depends on your mood. for a quick moment or two, soul calibur, but if you got a lotta time to spare final fantasy.
always hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Agreed I enjoy them both but to choose between them isn't really fair. They are totally different games.

Alright, keep in my mind...I have a biased opinion. Final Fantasy all the way! I'm a huge fan and have played may of the FF titles. ^_^ Soul Calibur is really good, but I'll always pick FF first. ^_~  |
