| It would be so cool if we had one. It all started when we had "Anime Fest" for 2 nights last week. On that Thursday, Tokyo Godfathers was shown which was pretty funny and on Friday was Spirited Away, which was pretty good too. Then that Saturday we had a meeting about how the club should be set up, you know constitutions and stuff like that. The people who came up with the club are trying to get it going for next semester. I seriously hope they get the club going. All the other clubs at college suck. |

I say go for it me and some of my friends try to start a go club which would basically be an anime club because the only reason some one would want to be in a go club is if they read a manga or something related to anime about go anyway GO FOR IT!!!! LIVE YOUR DREAMS TO THE FULLEST!!!! ^-^I'm crazy sry |

That would be awesome! @ Sapphire. You see, not only our college, but the whole university has it's recognized anime organization (not just a club too) called, Tomasinotaku. I think it was founded by a student of the college of science.., I'm not sure but his uniform says so. Anyways, the only problem is, it's not yet officially claimed as one of the true organizations here, but if you look closely at the number of people who have taken part from the various programs and proposals that they have been doing last year, I'd say it's a success. Many students just love anime; they would support! And not only that, since they started this yahoogroups thingy, I was able to meet this Pharmacy junior who gave me FREE! copies of Bleach; 1-58 eps in total! ^_^ Hehehe... Actually, she's to trade her list of animes, but when I told her that I had nothing to trade, she had the initiative to give me free copies! She's soooo wonderful! =D |

Wow, that'd be nice. There's an anime club at my high school, so I'm pretty sure that getting it at a college wouldn't be all too hard. Hope you really get to make one.  |

ive wanted to form an anmie or manga club at my high school but we got two problems: 1. Our princpal hates the words fun at school (lol) 2. My schools all preps so im the only one that watches anime.  |

| well, the focus would be anime and Japanese culture, but we'd also include Asian culture in general (like China, Korea, Vietnam, etc.) |

| preps suck kill them all I say oh and hey I'm now gonna try and form an anime club I'm pretty sure I have enough ppl to do that too yes excellant my band of otakus will follow me into anime heavan and I will be soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy yay |

That's really nice sapphire. There's also an anime organization being established in our school. They're still formulating their vision, mission and objectives as an organization. Yours seems pretty near to having the three mentioned. I like the fact that you'll also promote Japanese culture through anime. |

Wow, I envy you. If there was only a club like that in our school then I would be in it and I'll really work hard to get in the highest position in the club. Anime is so cool, but damn mymother's so strict and my principal as well. IF i got a chance I'll make my own organization in our class room. Hi Hi
Some things are better off forgotten...unless you are unable to...
