| I'm wondering which of the two should I purchase first. I read up on both of the animes and viewed a few pics. They look and sound interesting (plus the comments other members made from the Forum threads). I just wanna know which one is the better of the two. I would appreciate each of your opinion. ^_^ |

| I personally like Getbackers more. Granted, I haven't seen all of Saiyuki, but the characters and battles in Getbackers are very intense and creative, especially some of the later ones. But I like the creativity of the world and fighting styles. So I would suggest Getbackers |

| Ooh, that's a hard one. I'm a die-hard fan of both animes and I love them both. But I suppose if you're more into humour, then Get Backers is for you. If you like dark elements in your anime, then Saiyuki is for you. It's really hard to compare them. |

I think GetBackers is more interesting to watch than Saiyuki...but if you want a good story I prefer Saiyuki...  |

Saiyuki Gets stale after awhile but Getbackers is refreshing with the storyline and soundtrack goin well together.  |

| I've never seen Saiyuki but I like Get backers. Ban-chan!! <333 Ginji reminds me of Naruto with his upbeat attitude and blonde hair so I adore him too. |

Never seen Getbackers but it looks like a good anime so I'll go with Saiyuki because it's really funny but has it's serious moments.

| I like both n i think u should both STAR but which one first i dont know. Maybe u should go with Saiyuki first but the thing about Saiyuki is that only the first part is nice which is Gensoumaden Saiyuki. The rest like Saiyuki Gunlock/Reload arent that nice compared to Gensoumaden Saiyuki. As for GetBackers, i think the anime is OK n its worth buying and watching. |

| They're both good. I never finished watchign GetBackers, but it seemed really funny. Very action-packed, if that makes sense. I think Saiyuki has more serious moments, but it's still humorous in its own way. |

wow..... this one hard for me... both are really good in my opinion and i like the characters in both. story wise it's saiyuki, but i like akabane too much so I say Getbackers
