fire what is it really?

well i know that uh atoms move purty fast when so hot so.........uh how does fire like uh........you know uh.......come out no where when its really hot? How does it spread. Does it bumb into slower cells causing......uh.........them to move real fast?

uh......

Fire is the combustion of material resulting in the release of heat and visible light energy.
Combustion is a rapid oxidation reaction.
When the chemical bonds break, the energy is liberated.
In the case of a spreading wildfire, the heat energy released from currently burning material is sufficient to combust the immediately surrounding material.
The threshold of rapid combustion differs between different fuel sources.
For example, paper burns at 451°F.

no offence to engineer, but dont be a dick. thegentlewind may very well be 13, and in the 8th grade.
