Please help me prepare for my trip to Cervinia

Hi, everyone! I am planning my first ski trip to Cervinia, but I am a bit overwhelmed with all the preparations. Could you please tell me what the snow conditions are like there right now? Also, what is the easiest way to rent gear once I arrive? A few more questions about logistics and ski passes: Is it worth paying extra for an international pass that includes Zermatt, Switzerland, or is the Italian side sufficient for regular skiing? Most importantly, where would you recommend renting gear so that we do not waste time standing in line in the morning while everyone fiddles with their boots? I have heard that the weather on the Plateau de la Rose changes by the minute, so I would like reliable skis with sharpened edges in case of ice or slush.

The year before last, I was planning to go with a friend, but then my mom got sick and I couldn’t go. My friend went alone and said it was a disaster. He has his own gear and said he had to carry it all by himself from the hotel to the mountain. After three days of doing that, he got fed up and stopped skiing. A year later, we were finally able to go together and rented everything through https://getski.com/ . You can choose the store that is most convenient for you to pick up and drop off your gear. We made the reservation online a week before our flight. I arrived in the morning, and everything was ready with no lines. The prices are relatively reasonable. If you rent from local shops right at the base of the mountain, it’ll cost about 1.5 times as much, and you can’t be sure they’ll have your size.
