| How big is the difference in terms of time, money, and hassle? Is professional help really worth it? I\'ll be honest, divorce is a difficult decision for me. I\'d really like to at least free myself from dealing with the legal side of things. |

| I haven\'t compared them personally, but friends of mine have gone through both options. According to them, a lawyer saves more stress than time. Though that probably depends on the specific situation. |

| I handled my divorce myself, while a friend of mine went through it with a lawyer. Basically, a professional takes some of the burden off your shoulders and helps you feel more at ease, but it\'s not always necessary. My friend\'s situation was much more complicated than mine. All I really did was look up the requirements for divorce papers ontario, and then we started gathering the documents. There was nothing to divide, no kids involved, and we both accepted the decision to divorce pretty calmly. |
