has anyone ever been to the kiyo-mizu shrine in kyoto? i went there today, you can read all about it and see pictures in my journal.

i've been there.. my Japanese Teacher at my highschool takes a bunch of students every other summer to Japan for a all around tour. We stop in Chiba, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto ... and I hope I'm not forgetting anything and the Kyoto stop should be nicknamed "how many temples can you visit in one day" kiyomizudera ?´?…Ž› was one of them.. infact my entry ticket to the place is still under my keyboard o_o;..

Hi I'm new I really wanna go to Japan and become an animator its my big dream. I wanna know whats it like there have you ever been to any festivals and do they really sell everything in those vending machines?

you can read about the festivals i went to in my journal. they do sell a lot in vending machines: alcohol, pron, hot food, etc.

I really envy you, I'd love to go to Kyoto, simply for the temples and the gardens. Just to sit in a temple and meditate would be amazing.

| i wanna visit all the temples. Luckily i live in korea right now so it's cheap to go there. i'll go there this summer, i have a friend that live somewhere in japan so i'ma going to live with him. i'm going to get a first hand at japanese culture yay!. cant wait for school to be over :/ |

ah yes the ancient city of kyoto.... once burned...once invaded... and now..... the ancient capital of the sengoku era still han't lost its charm....brings joy to my heart...

Hi I get to go to Japan for only 10 days as a gift. I was thinking of dividing the time between Kyoto and Tyoko. What do you guys think are the major sites I should go to? Any recommendations for accomodation? |
