looking into game art outsourcing
|
| I’ve recently been looking into game art outsourcing, especially studios that provide 3D modeling. I’m working on a small project, and it’s getting to the point where doing everything solo is not very realistic anymore. Has anyone here tried working with an outsource studio that handles multiple stages like drafts, revisions, and final models with textures? I’m wondering how smooth that process usually is and if the results match what you expect. |

| I decided to try working with an outsourcing studio that focuses on 3D modeling. It’s basically an outsource team with a structured pipeline, not just a one-time delivery. They go through several stages starting from rough drafts, then refining details, and finally doing textures and polishing. That helped a lot because I could give feedback at each step. I found them here https://nastyrodent.com/. From what I noticed, most of the relevant info is currently on the main page and mainly about their 3D modeling services, but it was enough to understand how they work. I ordered a few assets for my project, and the result turned out really good. Everything matched my style, and the workflow made the whole process feel controlled and predictable. |

| Thanks a lot for your reply! That explanation about how the outsourcing process works, especially the different stages, really helped me understand what to expect. It definitely makes the idea of outsourcing feel more clear and manageable. |
