Welding the frame on an ISUZU Giga? Service manual

| I am helping my dad in the garage. He has an Isuzu Giga and needs to weld a bracket onto the frame. I remember there being a lot of preparatory steps before welding, but he lost the instructions. Do I need to remove the terminal and disconnect the blocks, or is disconnecting the battery enough? Does anyone have the instructions or can give me step-by-step directions? |

| Hey, did your dad work as a truck driver? I work as a mechanic at a truck service center. We don\'t repair Isuzus very often, but sometimes we have to. I usually check the procedure on manualmachine.com.This really saves you from expensive repairs after “simple welding.” It\'s not just the battery that\'s important - you have to disconnect the ECU, ground the battery, and connect the welding ground as close as possible to the work area, otherwise you can burn out the electronics. If everyone followed the recommendations in the manual, I would probably be out of work. Maybe you shouldn\'t give him any tips. |
