i need help identifying a game

i need help figuring out the name of a game. i have no pics for it, but i've played it before. it's a bottom-top scrolling jet action games like raiden. it's for SNES (Super Nintendo). you can have 1-2 players. 1st player has a red jet and 2nd player has a blue jet. before the beginning of each level each player can choose a special secondary weapon like plasma shields, laser cannon, mega beam, air mines, heavy vulcans, etc. you can only choose one weapon per level and once you pick one it's gone for the rest of the game. if anyone can figure out the name of the game or even ways i can find it out for myself i would be very very grateful.
