Some of us wish anime became a live movie,some think it would be a disgrace.Personally I don't care.As long as they do it good.VERY good. But who would play there part? In Cowboy bebop,trigun,evangelion, or any anime you can think of.  Nani?! |

| Doesn't matter how good it would be done, if an anime, that is any anime where it is not a realistic situation, is turned into a live action flick then it will suck. Or at least it won't be anywhere as good as the anime. If the anime is somewhat realistic then you might be able to make a live action flick of it. They did that with City Hunter, starring Jackie Chan, and I thought it was okay. |

Ok....from what I know (not much that is), there are like the soppy shouji animes that already turned into movies...and series... for exampleS: -Meteor Garden (from Boys like flowers or something like that) -Mars (you know the one with the motor cars and physchotic guy friend?) -Marmalade Boys...(er havent watched..apparently the actors werent that good looking)....well..yeah..all of those are like in chinese (mandarin to be precise)... but I think I'm off the topic here....What you want to know is HArd-core GOOD quality action-a-mobble animes.... Too bad i have no clue... Anyways...just a thought...Do you want to know Jap/Kor/Chin actors and actresses OR other country likewise? |

The GTO live action version has already ended a long time ago, most sites say that its final episode was the most watched tv show in japan. I haven't seen it though, so I can't tell if it's any good... They also made a GTO live action movie starring the actor who played as Onizuka in the tv series, but the only connection of the movie to the GTO manga/anime is Onizuka, but he's different from the Onizuka of the manga/anime/livedrama... |

| There are alot of Animes being turned into movies/tv shows. For example, the Scifi channel has signed an agreement for the rights to do a live action remake of Witch Hunter Robin. And then there is Gainax, Weta Digital (the LoTR guys), and ADV teaming up to make a live action Evangelion movie. James Cameron also has the rights to make a Battle Angel Alita movie(looking foreward to seeing this) |

I almost forgot that TOKYOPOP has gotten Melissa Joan Hart (yes, the Sabrina, the Teenage Witch chick) to make a live action version of the Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School manga :D There are also rumors of a live action AKIRA being directed by Catwoman's Pitof.. (I'm scared) |

| wow... Really? i wouldn't have thought... Sabrina playing that samurai girl was the furthest from my mind... Hey! if they do it pretty good than i don't have a problem with it. |

GTO dorama was okay... even i think it was kinda amazing... it was funnier than the manga, but still GTO anime is the best.. the story is almost the same w/ the anime/manga, but the other teachers' [fuyutsuki-sensei, etc] characteristics are different from anime/manga.. anyway, any1 watched kindaichi shounen no jikenbo j-dorama version yet? i heard it's better than the anime...

hm...i thought the GTO live drama was pretty good. Live drama for Hana Yori Dango sucked; some parts were amusing, but that's about it (then everyone went into a F4 craze...) well, live drama for gokusen was amusing...so was the live drama for you're under arrest, though i prefer the anime/manga...

i'll think it'll feel weird to see a live action of cardcaptor sakura.cause when i watched the first episode of sailor moon live action,i had nightmares when i saw that cat...it's actually just a talking plushie >.< i'm imagining kero as a talking plushie rite now...wait i can't bare to think... it'll be really nice to see love hina in live action though |
