Is It Streamlining?

My usual manner of listening to MP3s, so that RIAA doesn't come down on me, is to set up a browser so that when you click on an mp3 link, it will automatically activate "Open" command instead of "Save" command. I re-read the TOS and was wondering if that sort of thing would be against TOS? If so, I can re-configure the browsers. Browsers used are IE 6.0 and Netscape 8.

Just so you know, configuring that way doesn't stream. They just save the file to a temp folder on your computer and it plays while it downloads. Then it deletes it. Something you could just as easily do yourself.

Whew, it's a relief to know that it's permissible! Maybe you should mention this question in the TOS or in the FAQs?

my bandwidth would appreciate you to only download each song once, but if you dont feel like using my website that way, its quite alright.

*nod* Thanks for clearing that up, sir.

And I set it up so that if I want a song to repeat, I just hit play again after it plays once. That should help your bandwith, too.

I don't think the RIAA would care. After all, they're not making money off of the Japanese music (except, of course, with certain licensed anime).
