Could you explain how ventilation works on gasolin
|
| Could you explain how ventilation works on gasoline boats? I\'ve heard that fires can occur due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide. To prevent this, you should turn on the fan 10 minutes before starting the engine. Is this true? |

| Why did you ask this question? Before 1981, it was more common because all boats built after that year are required to have a boat ventilation system for exhaust gases and fresh air. These systems are designed to circulate exhaust gases and fresh air. Manufacturers were required to mark this on boats so that owners wouldn\'t forget to keep the ventilation openings open. I always turn on the fan after four minutes, not ten as you wrote. I haven\'t seen boats without these ventilation systems in a very long time. |
