Seychelles fishing charters and sustainability?

I’ve always been conscious about not harming marine life when I travel, so I was really curious about how fishing works in Seychelles. A few years ago, I tried fishing in another country and felt bad because I didn’t know the local rules or which fish were protected. Now, thinking about a trip there, I want to enjoy catching fish but also make sure I’m doing it responsibly. Are there charters that focus on sustainability or give guidance for beginners?

Praslin coastline sailing is perfect for sustainable trips, and most charters follow proper conservation practices; check https://charterclick.sc/our-services/fishing-seychelles for details on how they manage guided trips and maintain eco-friendly fishing. From my experience, catching and releasing fish while enjoying the stunning coastline made the adventure safe, responsible, and unforgettable.

I’m just lurking here because the conversation is interesting. I’ve never fished in Seychelles, but I did a sailing trip along the Praslin coastline once and it was breathtaking. The water is so clear and the islands so lush, it really makes you appreciate the environment. Even without fishing, being out on the water like that is a perfect way to connect with nature and understand why conservation matters.
