Childhood of Jennifer Schuett

|
Throughout her childhood, Jennifer was always afraid of the dark and didn\'t like sleeping alone, so she sought comfort from her mother, with whom she spent every night. However, on August 9th, Ellen asked her daughter to return to her room because she had to get up very early the next morning. Late in the morning, a stranger climbed through the window and attacked the girl. He covered her nose with his hand to prevent her from screaming and told her he was an undercover police officer named Dennis. Jennifer was terrified. He then put her in his car and drove to the parking lot of Jennifer\'s school. \"It\'s going to be okay,\" he told her to calm her down. He even promised to return to her mother at sunrise, but Jennifer knew something was wrong, especially when the fake police officer started the car and drove into a forest on the outskirts of town. Upon arrival, Dennis held a knife to her throat and whispered in her ear, “Am I scaring you, kid? Am I scaring you?” He then sexually assaulted the little girl, suffocating her with his bare hands. “He strangled me as hard as he could. And then he tried to break my neck,” the victim explained in an interview years later. Jennifer lost consciousness due to lack of oxygen, and then Dennis slit her throat from ear to ear. Believing she was already dead, he dumped her body on an anthill. But Jennifer was still alive: “I heard him walk away, and I heard his car door slam shut, and he drove away.” The little girl tried to call for help, but couldn’t. The wound on her neck prevented her from screaming, so she decided to plug the wound with her hand. “I was 8 years old. They left me to die in a field,” said Jennifer, who was bleeding to death by the second. |
