Secrets behind game level designs

I recently noticed that some mobile game levels feel strangely familiar, almost like they follow a pattern I’ve seen somewhere else. While playing a puzzle game last weekend, I realized that certain challenges were actually based on very precise sequences of moves. It reminded me of some old lessons I once had about patterns in architecture and nature. I wonder if level designers intentionally borrow these ideas from history, or if it’s just coincidence.

I’ve seen that too. In fact, when I started reading about ancient methods of organizing numbers and spaces, I realized many modern game levels follow the same logic. Here’s a detailed explanation of how these patterns appear: https://www.kulfiy.com/ancient-temple-mathematics-in-modern-gaming-apps/

Just passing by, but it’s fascinating how much thought goes into designing games. Even if I don’t play much, I appreciate the effort designers put into making the experience engaging and thoughtful.

Game design is all about creativity and fun. Just like adding bussing jokes for humor, small details can make the player experience more engaging, memorable, and enjoyable in the long run.
