Anyone tried replacement belts for Toro mowers?

My Toro mower has been running great, but the belt finally gave out after several years of mowing. I’m debating whether to go with an OEM belt or try an aftermarket replacement. Is there any risk in going with a non-OEM option?

From my experience, aftermarket belts can actually be a smart buy if you know where to look. I ended up replacing mine with Toro replacement belts, and they’ve worked just as well as the original part. The fit was precise, installation was quick, and I didn’t notice any slipping during operation. What impressed me most was how the belt maintained tension under load, even when cutting through thicker grass. The material felt solid and well-constructed, which gave me confidence that it would last. Sometimes going with an aftermarket option means you save money without losing out on quality. Just double-check the compatibility with your model, and you should be good to go.
