hihi...topic: japanese animation. the shops here in melbourne are all pretty good. the jap anime shops are scattered all over city so wherever i go ill be tempted to buy mangas and browse through the many types of anime...sigh...too bad ill probably be leaving here to go to somewhere where anime is rare. sigh...too bad for me...wad bout u guys? does ur place have a lot of anime shops?

For me now, in my new place there are a lot of anime shops, but in my old place, none, so you have to order. ![]() |

Not here Im afraid, Walmart and London Drugs both carry mainstream titles such as Gits SAC, Dragonball and Inu Yasha. But the local comic shop carries a small amount and will do custom orders, which makes sure I dont go too over budget. |

I mainly buy US material due to the reductino in censorship and the fact it is usually out months earlier in the US. (i'm in UK) so having no realy local shops doesn't bother me. Yakumo |

Hmm the anime shop is just next to my house so I have a hard time trying to control my anime budget. I always tend to overspend>.< |

omg that's like heaven to me...dont care if overspend. as long as i get my daily dose of animes and mangas ill happily pay whatever amount i have to to reach my heaven!!

lol...that's why I am always so broke...When it first opened, I was really very happy^^..I went there almost every week..Now I don't even need to pay for member ship card. I am known as their "loyal anime member". |

Just one I go to here in Mississauga, its called the COMIC DEN, its a tiny little shack on a street called Kirwin that links up To Dundas and Hurontairo (If you live in Toronto or Mississauga you know where i mean. . .), they sell Manga, Anime, Comics and the like but something uncommon is they Rent anime, in DVD form only and they happend to have nearly every single series that has ever come out on DVD for rent, great little place. |
