| I remember a ton of them like Dominion Tank Police, Patlabor, Area 88, Bubblegun Crisis, Ranma 1/2, Fushigi Yuugi.. I use to bike 30 minutes all the way to Suncoast because they were the only place that sold anime on VHS for $29 (2 episodes!) That was a loong time ago, just looking how much has changed makes me feel old :p |

How old is considered old? Cause if you think Slam Dunk qualifies for it then my fav oldies are Slam Dunk! Dragonball Robotech Lupin III and I believe now Neon Genesis Evangelion fits into this category too, which also is my fav anime of all time. |

umm not sure what is considered "old" but i guess anything out for more than 3 years? -Card Captor Sakura -Fushigi yuugi (kinda continued OVA but talkin about series) -Kare kano(not counting the updates in manga) -Escaflowne -Inuyasha -Love Hina -Dragon Ball - Sailor Moon I LOVE THEM ALL!

I remember watching Voltron and Robotech back in the 80's. Hey, uh, can Thundercats or Transformers count as anime shows?

One of my favorite series, that nobody seems to have mentioned yet: Mugen no Ryvius (Infinite Ryvius) Came out in '99, six years make it old? But then, I guess on that scale, Eva would be on the list too... Is doraemon still being fansubed? I know that they're still making new episodes in Japan. If there is still a demand for it...

G Gundam! is there anyone out there that even LIKES this anime??? Everyone I talk to says the animation sucks and blah blah blah.... DUDE!!! I LOVE THAT ANIME!!! Or at least I did.... I wonder if I watched it today if I'd think it was stupid or something....??? I hope I wouldn't. ^_^; |

I love the stuff from the 60's and 70's. Anything by Tezuka-san. Tetsuwan Atom>(Astro Boy), Princess knight, Jungle Emperor>(Kimba), Tetsujin 28. Gatchaman, Lupan the 3rd, Speed Racer, Voltus 5>(voltron), Southern Cross >(robotech) Manzinga, Macross, Dragon Ball Urusei Yatsura... Anything that was animated by less than 50 people. The harder to find the better. I'm only 24 b.t.w |
