this is a controversial topic. some theories exist that predict the universe will collapse in on itself. however, the majority of people in the scientific community agree that the universe will continue to become colder and more spread out. for further reading on the topic, lookup "heat death".

Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is currently on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy. They're supposed to go through each other and possibley jumble up some solar systems. Don't worry though, it isn't going to happen for a couple billion. So.....we'll all be dead by then.

There are many theroies on this. It is generally accepted that the universe is constantly expanding. One theroy says that when it has expanded as far as it can the universe starts contracting (a variation on this is that time will reverse as well) once it has contracted as far as it has it will start expanding, and so on ad neuasium. Another theroy states that there will be another big bang. Another says that eventually black holes will absorb it all, this theroy is completely and utterly stupid, because according to the theroy of relativity every action has an equal and opposite reaction so white holes must exist. In my opinon the reason no one has found a White Hole is they are microscopic and last mere nano seconds.

An equal and opposite RXN*

That would mean that the opposite of a black hole would be an anomole that reflects all light, would be some sort of bulbulous shape, and it would force everything away from it, like opposing magnets. It would have to have some form of negative gravity. This sounds a little far fetched, even for me.

*Short form for the word "reaction" (I'm lazy)
