Re: Anime Music

| I really like a lot of the songs from InuYasha. Sakamoto Maaya sang a lot of songs featured in anime shows, and she's a really great singer, so anything by her is usually good. |

You need Trigun music. *nod* Witch Hunter Robin: great vocal songs, but the rest of the soundtrack is like a live-action drama show. Weird stuff. Escaflowne: composed by Yoko Kanno, really cheesy orchestral stuff. X-Japan: THE rock band to listen to. Very 80's ^_^ |

You need some .hack//sign songs. To Nowhere, Bear, and Edge would be a good place to start. Wolf's Rain music is good, but some of it is REALLY bad. The good stuff is Gravity, Tell me what the rain knows, and Stray. Other good stuff is Eternal Snow, End of The World, Ride on Shooting Star, and Believe.
"Well, I'm not sure. A little voice in my head is saying 'this is a bad idea' but I can barly hear that little voice because an even louder little voice is yelling "LET THE 12-YEAR OLD DRIVE!'" - from The Cat in the Hat

I can recommend anything from FLCL, Mahoromatic, Onegai teacher or I My Me strawberry eggs. For more happy ones, try anything by Funta (Pitaten opening, Popotan ending), or Oranges and Lemons (Azumanga Daioh). Richard |

I think this is in the wrong section... Not that it really matters that much... Try something from Gundam or Saiyuki... If you wanna search by singer i suggest Yui Horie, Sakamoto Maaya, Tanaka Rie and Akino Arai... Of course, there are many other good singers out there...
Immortality sux... it gets boring after a while

U shld try: .Hack//SIGN (Soundtracks and vocals are great...probably the best out there) Naruto ops & eds (veri catchy and fast for most songs) Songs by Angela like: Kirei na yozora Asu e no brilliant_road The End of the World Songs by Maaya Sakamoto like: Hemisphere Tune the Rainbow The Garden of Everything Cloud 9 |

Re: Anime Music

Hm... I love Gravity (in Wolf's Rain) by Maaya Sakamato...she has such a lovely reminiscent voice...but i dont like her others..but the ones she sung in Escaflowne is ok. Taku Iwasaki does Great background music (Witch Hunter Robin and Rurouni Kenshin)...sends chills...very sad and stirring... Yokko Kano is truely one of those really nice enjoyable artists...sometimes she works with Maaya!!^_^ Gundam SEED has some pretty good fast-paced music like MOMENT and SHOOT... Fruits Basket- Sorairo, for fruits basket, epilogue AND ANOTHER ONE....SADAME!!!! from X TV...Gendou has it...The non-piano version is abit repetitive and long...but its soooo nice..the orchestral bit!!! A MUST>! |

Well, there are a LOT of anime songs that I can recommend to you. I'll just give you a general list of my favorites. Rurouni Kenshin - "One Half" and "It's Gonna Rain" are two great ones, but they all are. Love Hina - "Sakura Saku" is a must. "Shinken" was also surprisingly good. Most are good from this one too. Yu-Gi-Oh - Believe it or not, they have good opening and ending songs. I especially like "Rakuen" and "Overlap" Cardcaptor Sakura- Not much to say here except get as many as you can. "Arigatou" and "Fruits Candy" come to mind Fruits Basket- Somebody mentioned "For Fruits Basket" so we'll leave it at that. Star Ocean EX - Opening and ending song ("To the Light" and "Hearts") Azumanga Daioh- "Soramimi Cake" is always a nice one. Inu Yasha- Defintely should check out this anime's songs. "Shinjitsu no Uta" and "I Am" work wonders. Mahoromatic - Why not? Get everything from this one as well. "Kaerimichi" and "Mahoro de Mambo" are two good ones. To Heart- discovered teh song "Yell" from here by accident. Yeah, anything from Maaya Sakamoto and Yui Horie are basically great. I'd also check out Youko Ishida (was it Yoko Ishida, Ishida Yoko, Ishida Youko, etc). |
