man, they will make an anime out of just about anything now days. personally, i liked Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu. that army boy kicks ass. this new and apparently unrelated series called Full Metal Alchemist seems pretty awesome too. its about alchemy, as you might have guessed. if Isaac Newton were an anime fan, he would love to see this series! speaking of science, the series that is being called PLANETES looks very interesting judging from the first episode. It reminds me very much Wings of Honneamise. anyway, these 3 series are worth the hdd space, in my opinion.

i agree that FMP: Fumoffu is hilarious. it would still be funny for someone who hasnt seen the first season, but its great knowing the characters. i saw a few eps of FMA and kinda liked it. does it get better in later episodes?

u shpuld watch fma. ist really good and now at ep. 22 the plot is really deep. ull like it for sure.

FMA is getting SUPER popular, that or I've been just hanging around all the right people. For some reason, my entire LJ friends list is falling in LOVE with it. Muahaha. That and Prince of Tennis. I lurve teh FMA though. ^_^ I could rape Edward. AND Alphonse. Whee!

| From what I've heard Full Metal Alchemist sounds pretty cool. But the only chance I would have to see it is when it comes out in the US. But FUNimation has licensed it already so they probably going to edit the hell out of it like they do to all the other series they have gotten their slimy hands on. |

cartoon network is gonna BUTCHER it!!! just like they did with their first victim. Salior Moon. ok um Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus are lesbian lovers together. ANYONE KNOW THAT, THAT WATCHED IT ON CARTOON NETWORK?? nooo probably not. because CN tried to cover it up.in the most stupid way ever! so instead of making them just caring friends as a cover-up, they make them COUSINS. now they're INCESTIVE lesbian lovers. I'm sorry to break it to all those devoted sailor moon fans who thought it was all so inoccent and bubbly for the most part but what I'm saying is true. ALSO, did you know that zoizite is a GUY??? and so they made him have a woman's voice. and zoizite apparently is in love with mareikito (mal-eh-kite) that means they're gay men lovers..but they made zoizite a GIRL on CN but he has no BOOBS showing!!! cartoon netwark ha baka desu yo! hontou! and in Yu Yu Hakushou they pronounce Kuwabura's name "Kuwabara" and with some lame accent if you will.please people get it right at least with a character's name. ¬_¬ anyway that's my rant for the day. ja ne minna  "If one is to become a lady, one must not chew on her chopsticks!" |

| no, its not that bad. they will almost definitely show it on their late night block (known as [Adult Swim]) which cuts out a lot less then their daytime stuff. for example, right know they have FLCL, Wolf's Rain, and Cowboy Bebop on with very little censored (comparatively little anyway) |

| If it is on Adult Swim it will be ok. Adult Swim tends not to edit too much and hence Cowboy Bebop's dub was actually one of the best I have ever seen. But other things (ie Seed) they completely destroyed. The real thing I am pissed at is that no more ANBU Fansubs... sigh... |

yet another release note: Square Enix, which had its hands in FMA from the beginning, is coming out with a FMA (seems to be action, not RPG) game for the PS2 soon. |

CN does ruin a whole lot of series with their poor dubbing, well not necessarily poor but it does ruin it because you don't get the full aesthetic effect. anyways, if adult swim starts playing FMA, i will watch it because adult swim does a fairly good job. cause like they're showing trigun, inuyasha, cowboy bebop, wolf's rain, and witch hunter robin and for the most part those have turned out pretty well. btw, fmp:fumoffu is by far the best anime ever!

Yea I agree, full metal alchemist is one of the best anime IMHO. I have also watched planetes recently and I can say it is also a good anime. you guys migt want to have a go hehe PS: I have put a request on the opening song of planetes (dive in the sky)...I do not know the ending song's title though. |
