when seiyuu sing. what do you think?

i am not a music expert...i dont know about pitch,vocal or anything related to it. but one thing that i know, i LOVE seiyuu's songs more than the real artist songs. i know it's pretty weird....but i dont care. i really really love to hear those seiyuu sing....i think their voice is really CUTE! when i hear them sing as if i am seeing the character that is singing becoz i am hearing their voice! what do yu think?

| I see your point. I've just recently started listening to seiryuu songs from Saiyuki and frankly, they sing really well. Of course, all the songs aren't like that, but these are pretty good. |

I love it too, and I know what you mean. I think that you get to like their songs a bit better if you are familiar with their voice. |

some seiyuu sound gorgeous. some sound downright terrible. i still very much prefer the seiyuus of the 90's over today's though. oy, NinjaFox, you wouldn't say seiyuu's sound cute anymore if you listened to guy seiyuus for a week. argh. |

i guess u r right, some seiyuu does sound pretty teribble when they sing........especially the male one becoz some of their voice is not suitable for singing...and i feel like laughing when i hear it...but, no matter, i still love them very much ^_^ i think seki tomokazu's voice is quite good....and he is my fav seiyuu hehe

i'm currently in love with hoshi souichou's voice more and more....i liked seki tomokazu's voice...but lately he doesn't sing that much

| Sometimes it's interesting to hear a seiyuu sing instead of an actually artist. Take DN Angel for instance. I love that ep.22 insert song (sung by seiyuu of Riku) much more than the OP/ED |

want to hear some interesting seiyuu song? try the hachiyou song....the title is harukanaru toki wo koete. but, please, try to keep in mind that not all of them is profesional singer......but miyata koki and hoshi souichiro voice is kinda nice..! shimon-chan kawaii...>_<

Most popular seiyuus usually sings well...like hoshi souichirou, koyasu takehito, seki tomokazu, seki toshihiko, takahiro sakurai, kenichi suzumura, etc. luv them all ^_^

well, i think seiyuu's sings are good.. if you watch gundam SEED destiny and herd either Lacus or Meer sing, they werent bad.. in fact it's great.. i think it depends on the character personality they play.. e.g : -if he/she's the main character and smart yet handsome than most of them has good voice -if he/she's the main charater but he/she's but has a bad appearance.. usually it has a..... good voice.. anime with good seiyu's voice.. - Gundam SEED destiny/SEED - Gravitation (yaoi) |

Did Seiyuu has to sing in their audition? Cause they're all good! (Some male seiyuu aren't that good, but really...) Especially Rie Tanaka!

they didnt need audition imo... cause i think the anime director or the seiyuu serch team already selected few of big names or ask help from talent finder.... every seiyuu has to be selected -not wiht the good voice- imo cause seiyuu can fill the character's voice with the precise voice, not like the *cough*dubbers*cough*,,, sorry for that but in reality, it was seiyuu better than dubber in filling voice.. right ?? |

| As far as i know, there r many seiyuu's who r singers too so when they sing the image songs it definatelly rocks. Examples r like Rie Tanaka who sang Emotion n Hoshi_Souichiro (Yamato_Kira)who sang Ima_Kono_Shunkan_ga_Subete from Gundam Seed/Destiny. Other artist/seiyuu's that r popular r also good. |

hmm... it depends on the vocal (sorry for typing out such a stupid sentence) some seiyuu did extremly well when singing... tanaka rie, sakamoto maaya, seki tomokazu (i like this one). but some seiyuu sing such horibble songs that cant be described. go hear ishida akira songs... the are really horrible. some of these seiyuus are j-pop artist actually... inoue kikuko, sakamoto maaya, seki tomokazu have their own albums actually... p/s: i like seki's vocal and i dun find any thing wrong with his voice... he sung a great numbers of weiB cruez songs and they are all quite good arent they? i personally like the songs he sang for gravitation... bird, fake star and break through. they are really nice~ :)

When the seiyuu sings... umm... My mind would suddenly create its own Music Video where the character of the seiyuu is singing... Or, sometimes - well, most of the time, really... - I would suddenly imagine MY character (I imagined my own character, I know most of you do it, too! ^_^) singing it! It's really fun!  |

When the seiyuu sings... I think, the sieyuu theirselves are singers. Have you ever watched Galaxy Angel and listen to the songs? All the songs, sung by Angel-Tai (Milfuelle, Mint, Ranpha, Forte, Vanilla, and Nomad....). Well, Milfuelle and Mint sing well. Ranpha have quite good voice. But Forte and Nomad, they have somewhat weird voices.  |

I think it also depends on the composer of the song...i mean the seiyuu for Ichigo sings really badly when he sings the image songs for Bleach, but he actually sings really well for Gundam Seed Destiny's image song as Auel Neider...... Kouki Miyata (Hanatarou) also sings really well in other anime but really badly for Bleach.
