Let see the show rating are: 3&up 13&up 14&up 16&up 17&up 18&up Ummm.... the age rating on berserk is 16 in the anime & 18 in the manga. Isn't that called an adult series then? so anime isn't just for kids. Besides theres that thing called hentai out there too. & that aint child-ish stuff either.
Never date a guy stranger than you. If so, make sure he's loaded.

Of course not. I don't think you'll find anyone who thinks that on a website for anime fans :) Of course, there are plenty of animes that are intended for children. But I don't watch them.  |

| i don't think so. if loving anime makes us people childish then people who loves soap opera are mushy, corny have nothing else to do but worry about other peoples problem people. people who loves aniime just likes a different kind of entertainment. it could be anyone. there are no proofs that can say that loving anime makes one childish. |

not really. The fact when I was a child and I watched some animé like, Eva and RKenshin, was hard for me at that age to understand. But as I grew up, I finally understood what it really meant. The fact that animé is cartoons doesn't mean it's childish because not all kids would understand the deep meanings of a story. Oh yeah, I bought this dvd called Seraphin Call and rating was 7&up. I was hesitating to buy it cause I thought it's for kids. Then when I finally decided to buy it and when I was watching it my head was spinning. The show was confusing but I liked it. Makes your brain works. I think they just rated the show as 7&up because there's no nudity and bigtime violence. But if I were rating it, I would rate it as 12-14&up. Flamey, that was funny. Lots of Obesessed OC fan girls out there huh. ^_^ jester, I definitely agree with you."if loving anime makes us people childish then people who loves soap opera are mushy, corny have nothing else to do but worry about other peoples problem people." Bleah, you said the s-word (soap operas, *shudder*). My sister likes those, I can't see why, they're just about the shallowest form of entertainment known to man. There must be a few good ones, I suppose...but I've never seen any. If people can like such things as soap operas then I don't see where people get off complaining about anime... |

I love watching anime. I would rather watch anime than regular TV. After all what's there, reality programs, news, bad comdeies and worse cops and hospital shows. No thank you. Now does that make me childish? Especially considering...  |

I believe so, only children should be allowed to love inanimate objects. Grown-ups are grown-ups because they leave that childish attitude behind them. Besides, wouldn't it be wierd for someone over fifty talking to you about the last episode of Bleach. |

It would if I watched Bleach. How about we talk about Full Metal Panic, Love Hina or Air. Milady and I sit here together Lith. We like sappy high school romance comedies. When Rin cries I hold her. When I'm upset she holds me. and when Naru punches Keitaro we jump into bed and make love. Is that childish? We think don't so still we love the child within both of us and th ebest part is I get the play with the little girl who is Lady Rin. I'm 59 she's 42. OK Lith, now what do you have to say. |

I believe in absolutes. Really, when people are looking at the exception to the rule, they see the rule instead. In your case Desertranger, you use your situation to redefine the word grown-up. I pity the adut who has lost the child within, and unfortunately most of them seem to have done that. We are also not looking for the exception to the rule for the simple reason that all to often the exception eventually does become the rule. Lith you said you deal in absolutes? Absolute what? I also assume you watch anime and from your statement I also assume you are still a 'child'. That's alright, we're all children here. I deal in absolutes. I absolutely love Ranger. I absolutely love watching anime. I absloutely love making (all togehter now) Olallieberry pies. Is that absolute enough? edited: I forgot one. I absolutely love sex. |
