I like Miaka Yuki more. Because Yui couldn't trust what her friend told her. Plus, she wanted to snatch Tamahome from Miaka!!!  |

I like Yui even though sh betrayed her best friend coz i belive as one chinese philosopher mencius said that all people was born good. Influence is the one reason attracted us in doin unjustful ways to others, and beauty is not enough without intelligence. >Kanpai Yui!!!!

Miaka is a bit too much of the cliched anime heroine; sweet, pure, somewhat of a naive glutton... But in the end she does wind up growing stronger and realizes her responsibilities. Yui, however, felt betrayed and wanted to get vengeance on her friend because of a mix of Nakago's manipulation and the way she grew up. Which one is better though? I did prefer Yui, all actions aside. In the end, she wound up learning and helped her friend after all.  Monk Chichiri |

i dunno which one to choose.... miaka's pretty dumb, careless & childish. but she is passionate & loyal. on the other hand, yui is a little evil(tries to snatch tamahome away),likes to take revenge & heartless(cold-hearted). but she's smart, pretty, & intelligent! maybe i don't choose either one... besides, they're not my favourite characters!!! >_< |

I can't say who is better cuz **This May contains spoilers if you didn't read book nine yet** Miaka- knowing as she betrayed her friend. but actully she got betryed by hers friend still she still love her and she will do anything to Them make up. She even Ditched Tamahome to look for Yui! Yui- Her anger and Nakago's manipulating made her mad but still when she heard Miaka got a deadly shagongy Disease, I could tell that she was werried. And in OAV 2 She hepled Miaka get back the Univers of 4 gods scroll even tho she is engered so bad! |

to tell you all the truth they are both annoying...but I really did like Yui Honggo better than Miaka... What I didn't like about Yui was her narrow-minded mind and about Miaka, when she screams and calls out Tamahome.  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |
