Otaku Patterns
|
These're things I've noticed that anime otaku tend to like (other than anime and manga) - Lord of the Rings (movies & books) Harry Potter (movies & books, but mostly books) To Kill a Mockingbird (I have no idea what the connection here is. All I know is that I like, and a lot of my otaku friends like it.) Pirates of the Caribbean ...please dis/agree, and add anything on that you've noticed. |

I like Lord of the Rings, in a sort of lukewarm way. I also like the Harry Potter books, although the movies aren't very good. To Kill a Mockingbird...it was okay. Pirates of the Carribean...what's so great about it? Wasn't bad but wasn't very good either. ![]() |

Pirates of the Caribean was cool and I like the Harry Potters movies. Found LOTR kinda boring though. ![]() |
Re: Otaku Patterns

it may have to do with the fact that otaku are sometimes imaginative and enjoy things that have to do with fantasy? i like most of those. and orlando bloom is... well... DIVINE. *blush* >.< do most otaku love orlando bloom? hehe.
nya........... hehe.

The only thing on your list that I like is the Lord of the Rings books. The movies were alright. I liked the MockingBird movie with Jimmy Stewart but never finished the book. ![]() |

i dunno where you came from *to you, who posted the nice thread. peace out! =^-^=* but hey, i think you've got a pattern there, well, except that the only LOTR i've ever appreciated are the movies. im a sluggish person when it comes to books. i think *no offense to others, ok?* that M. Tolkien's books are a bit slow, too dramatic. Hey, i don't mean to offend anybody, ne? im just speaking my mind. all else, i appreciate, like HP and TKAM. just posting. peace out, dudes! =^-^= ![]() ![]() |
