Your options: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water. Tell us you favorite and if you arent lazy tell us why. Tell us what you think about other elements, what they represent, or mean too. Mine: earth I like earth because its seems the most powerful. Of all natural disasters earthquakes are the most destructive. Plus earth has many forms like sand, mud, crystal, ore, rock, magma, etc. Plus earth's froms can vary like from diamond, granite, limestone, marble, gold. There is just so many options. Caves are cool. Golems are cool. Rocks make great paper weights, door stops, and bashing tools. Earth has so many uses. Plus there are 4 major ways of death departure. Earth: buried under a grave Fire: creamation Water: funeral at sea Wind: Launch corpse into air with trebuchet. Ill choose Earth for that too. For some reason anime doesn't like earth. In El Hazard there is a fire, wind, and water priestess but no earth. Flame of Recca, Domon the earth guy is the weakest. Plus whenever there is a reference to the four chinese gods, Genbu is always the weakest, such as Inuyasha movie 4. There is alot more times where earth is discriminated. Plus if anyone played Quest 64, a truly great rpg and one of the few rpgs on the N64, earth is the most powerful magic.(mainly because of the barrier spell and avalanche.) my favorite element is californium. second favorite is germanium. oh, and radon rocks, too. oh! and promethium is my favorite lanthanide because its radioactive. sulfur is my favorite nonmetal but it smells funny.

Haha! Gendou, that's clever! Reminds me of my periodic table when I was in High School. My favorite then was Hg [Mercury]. Back to the 4 elements...[remembers Magic Knight Rayearth] I'd rather choose water. Fire represents power and I don't like being oh-so-powerful. I like beaches [the sea] so I'll go for water.    |

Togther we  Ranger and Rin  There are four elemementals. Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Earth The ground beneath our feet, the foundation on which we build life. It is the core of our common sense, sensuality, senses. Through the Earth we touch, taste, smell, see and hear Through those senses. the Earth is green of growth and the brown of stability. It dances in the leaves, in the fields, and in the hedgerows. It colours the plants that spring to life The Earth is the root source for all life as it is ours. Air and the Wind Air is spring, the innocence and vibrancy of the beginning of a new season, the budding of the leaves from the seeds of the mind, and the faith in oneself, and belief in ones' own destiny. It touches the colour of the Sun, and catches the thought of life. It is the breath of the living. Air is the child of Wisdom, new to life, wide-eyed, expectant and rushing headlong into the light. It blusters, it blows, it dances, it teases, it searches, it questions, and develops and breathes. It strives to learn and find out. It can rage, howl and torment. It is the soft touch of insight- the cool spring breeze of reason, dancing in our hair as we walk in the valley of discovery. It has the innocence of lambs gambling on the hillside, and the sudden burst of light over the darkness of the horizon.  Water is emotion. It feels, it dreams, it nurtures the heart. It refreshes, it cools, it is wet, fluid, heavy and mysterious,taking the shape of whatever contains it. Water is the food of life, and essential for life, for all things arose from the sea. It quenches the thirst of the earth made barren by fire and air. Water is serenity. It is blue, clear and passive, yet seeps through the cracks of our defenses. It flows with our mood, and cannot be held, for it slips through the hands. It is the swift current of a brooding storm, the heavy foam riding rough on the tides of the ocean. It can erode and drown. Yet too it is the gentleness of ripples on a crystal pool. It moves, it ebbs, it flows, it cleanses, it soothes. "Tread carefully with your heart, for you dare to tread on Water"  Fire is desire. Passionate, emotional, untamed, the most powerful of energy forces, for it represents the force of the Spirit. It is a flame that flickers, or a blaze that destroys.. It glows in the Sun. It dances in the hearth, attracts the eye, and desire. It colours the blood. It is the pulse of our being. Fire is active, it rises up. It is the life principle. Its’ essence is alive, warming, compelling, exciting, propelled by enthusiasm.  It loves with the passion of youth.  Fire – breathes, lives. It is! Air fans its flames, but it needs earth to contain it. Water alone can put it out.  Ranger Lady Rin is the earth, the air and the water, the touch of control and stability of the earth in my existence. She is the air I breath full of life and innocence. Full of the gentle love and welling of emotions that is also found in the water with the gentelness of the wind on a spring afternoon and the coolness of a brook on a hot summer day. To breath the air and experience her innocence is to step into stream and to never step in the same place twice.  Lady Rin is the air that fans the flames in my heart and only the water that is Lady Rin can quench that fire.  *Rin shivers* Please wait a moment. *long kiss, verry long kiss*. Oh my! Oh yes! More, please more. *sweet laughter* *more kiss than we care or are allowed to describe here*  Rin  Ranger. Ranger is fire and only fire. A wildfire uncontrollable burning across the mountains. Burning with a rage that seethes from within; a rage of both anger and passion. A rage that keeps him on the edge of a place I don't dare tread a place I see into from time to time a place that is frightening. He is the summer heat, fierce and unrelenting in his goals and he is the warm fire of winter keeping me secure, safe, warm in his love and desires.  Today he is a white mans fire, large, hot, an enemy to be kept at arms length. One who eats your wood and then eats you in the flames of passion. Tonight he is an Indian fire, small, cozy a friend, a lover to be kept kept close for protection. To be loved by his fire, close to the flames. We are the elements, earth, air, fire and water. Always and forever Togther we  Ranger and Rin    The Narrator wrote: The kiss we now see is so hot that even the great desert lakes cannot contain the passion. | I don't know if anyone does Ninjutsu (or another similar Martial Art) where each of the Elements represent a style of fighting, based on that I go with wind (a kind of evasive style) cause its the way I like to fight ^-^ |

i think personally i'm the most similar to water, which makes sense considering the type of people i'm attracted to. fiery... but sometimes it's hard not to get burned. anyway, my favourite element is .... oh, sodium!!! because when it hits water it EXPLODES!!!!!!!! {bwah hahahah... actually, my friends and I once had this big plan to find this large source of untampered-with sodium that's hidden in our school [yes, it's actually there, the chem. teacher was drunk and whatnot, we found out.] so we were making this ridiculous plan to blow the school up} ANYWAY. yes, i think i'm water. or air, perhaps??? yeah, maybe air, actually: imaginative, creative, needs to be grounded. damn. now i need to think about this. hee!!!! maybe i AM water......

Any one played Golden Sun or GS Lost Age. One of the best GB advance games. Very strong on the 4 elements in that game. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

Oh dear. I don't think some of you know the elementals are or their difference from the elements that make up the earths basic building blocks. The M-W.com dictionary say: Elemental abridged definition. 1 a: Any of the four substances air, water, fire, and earth formerly believed to compose the physical universe b: relating to, or resembling the great forces of nature {the rains come with elemental violence} {elemental passions} 2 Any of more than 110 fundamental substances that consist of atoms of only one kind and that singly or in combination constitute all matter. eg: carbon (C), hydrogen (H), gold (Au), uranium (U). In this case the elements being refered to are air, water, fire, and earth. |
