I know there are a lot of PS2/PS3 fans here, so want to say that I have a PS2 and have nothing against Sony. As we all know, Nintendo recently revealed the Revolution controller. I want to first say that I have to hand it to them for making something truly different. Using motion technology for interaction was a great move in my book. Also, straying away from too many buttons keeps the console from falling into the pitfall of intimidating non-gamers from looking at it. I know that neither Nintendo nor Sony has shown actual (read: playable) games, and Microsoft is the only one showing anything (because of the 11/22 launch date), but what do you all think about where the next gen is going from what we have learned at TGS?
The end of the weekend is something that's inevitable... Like a test. Or the Apocalypse.

TGS? Do you mean Today's Gaming Systems? Well the graphics are gonna be definitely high quality and more realistic looking. I think the players might be able to interact with the characters in the game through a headset as shown in the work-in-progress game Eyedentify for the PS3. I also read in a magazine that someone (uh.... forgot their name) is trying to invent a new invention, where the gamer can play games and exercise at the same time.  |
