Planning on taking a trip to Nippon this summer
Greetings everyone! I am currently applying for a Fulbright grant to study in Japan for 3 weeks this summer so I can use what I learn over there in my classroom here in the states. Does anyone have any advice for how to get around Tokyo or Kyoto? Also where can someone get money exchanged once you arrive there? I am also suppose to be placed with a family with school age children that I'm suppose to go to school with so I can observe how they go through a typical Japanese elementary/middle school day, so does anyone know what is cool in Japan with kids ages 8-14? Also what makes a good thank you gift for a Japanese family after they have provided hospice? |

wow, i hope you get it!!! have a good time. bring us presents. hehe ooh, and i think that a good gift to give them would really be anything that's practical that they would appreciate. and as for little kids, my japanese friend {who currently lives in osaka and has a little sister who's eleven} tells me that her sister really like Detective Conan stuff, but i think all little kids are fascinated with generic things. just be nice! lol
nya........... hehe.
