| I mean, the downloads are really good, but if people see a more attractive site (in terms of graphics and layout), then yeah, you'll get more people coming in. Just a thought. |

I'm not sure more "people coming in" is a good thing; Managing the growth of your "presence" online is an important fact... If a website grows exponentially and the paying percentage of users funding the site can't sustain that growth (Which you can see the growth on the main page where Gendou provided a graph), then the website buckles under the weight. With the site being donation driven, there are a fair share of freeloaders who come just to take songs without ever contributing even a dollar; Gendou's had to disable registration as well as downloading before to meet his monthly requirements as far as bandwith and costs; (Let this be a suggestion to all of those who keep saying they can't contribute right now, or they'll get around to it later or whatnot, to *contribute something, even if it's just a dollar through the Donate! link! Gendou needs all of our help to keep this website running!) All this being considered, there's also the small factor that adding graphics and whatnot not only increases bandwith usage, but also would take longer for the site to load for dial-up users, on what is primarily a database-driven site (Simplistic layout & access to the data); It's actually a welcome layout, in this day and age, to not have a website with 50000 graphics & layouts & whatnot, just a simple layout. (Which you can apply your own color & styles to using your browser, if you want, too :D) |

thanks StriderNeko 1. users may edit their own stylesheet, all you need is a little knowledge of CSS 2. users may freely share layouts! so, you dont even need to know css! 3. images suck bandwidth, i will never use them for my layout 4. the navbar looks cool if you ask me :D 5. like striderNeko said, i am not out to make a fancy website, function over presentation 6. this site is 100% hand-made, no pre-made html/css/php/sql code is used anywhere 7. if you dont like it, shut up and get the fuck out. seriously. the nerve of some people! Frankly, I think i could make the forum and a few other pages a little nicer looking. Or, I could spend my free time between work and school uploading new songs. Well, which would you prefer? Give that a good long thingkin'...

I like your site Gendou. It's fast and very clean. I am very impressed you wrote the software yourself. Although I am having a problem embeding some of my toys into my posts.  |

| Nah. this is okay. Just change the font style I guess. You can have Tahoma. But Times is really the most common font of all. You can find it everywhere. Linux doens't have Tahoma or Arial (the whole family of Arials). |
