I really like Inuyasha. It's really cool with demons and stuff. Though I have to admit that i haven't watched all of the episodes yet, but at last count i heard that it was at 186 and still going. do you guys think inuyasha has one too many episodes?

Inuyasha is horrendously long and retarded for being as such. For any series to span more than 30 episodes is simply excessive. The Inuyasha story got retarded after the 2nd season. Now it's just more and more of the same crap. The same applies for the manga. Then again, anything by Rumiko Takahashi should be burned.

Inu Yasha has 167 episodes, but in Japan the manga is still publishing new episodes monthly! Inu Yasha`s new episodes in anime are very probably!

For so many episodes it did have a crappy ending. Prince of Tennis had 10 more episodes than Inuyasha and it's ending sucked way more. DBZ combined with DB had 300+ episodes, Sailor Moon had exactly 200, and Z and Double Zeta Gundam put together is like 100 episodes (I consider it one big series due to continuity reasons)

Inuyasha has a repetive and boring story line, and anything over 100 episodes is way too much. There's no character development, and so much of the storyline points out the obvious. lotsa unnecessary excessiveness.

I totally agree I was one of the people who used to like Inuyasha, but it got so tedious that i couldn't stand it anymore. |

Inuyasha doesn't have as many episodes as I've seen. Yu-Gi-Oh for example has over 220 episodes. What makes some think it's too long, is that Inuyasha doesn't have an exact story line, no real plot. Once again, like Yu-Gi-Oh. I would think Inuyasha has enough episodes, not too much. It does go on in the manga though. The last episode from the anime is chapter 355. We're on chapter 445 if you read the manga. It doesn't really have a lot of episodes but if the manga were to become part of the anime adding onto more episodes it would be too many episodes.    |

167 episodes too much for you? Try reading the manga. Takahashi-san's nearing Chapter 450 and still going strong plotwise. I think what killed this series for a lot of people was the ending to Episode 167. I won't spoil it, but many of my friends regretted watching the 150+ episodes before the conclusion. I also regretted watching the (anime) ending, but the manga is making up for lost time. Here's to hoping Takahashi-san creates an OVA for the end! (Off Topic) BTW, Meitantei Conan (Case Closed) is nearing EPISODE 450. I have no idea where the manga is chapterwise, but I have watched all of the episodes (Yes, I have no life, lol). FUNi's doing a pretty good job with the DVD releases, but I doubt that they'll licence the movies. (/Off Topic) |

Yes and the manga is not helping either way. I don't dislike Inuyasha, I just can't stand the repetitiveness of it. Naraku dies, he ressurects, he produced another demon's spawn etc...etc...  |
