how to screenshot avi?

what program do use if you want to screen shot movies on the comp? need to get some pictures for wallpapers and sig's :)

If you use Windows, you can use the Print Screen button, and then paste it into whatever graphics program you can use.
But remember, DISABLE hardware acceleration for video display in your media player (if it's supported).

That may or may not work, depending on several factors. Play the movie in a program that allows you to do screen caps. BSPlayer comes to mind. So will any video editing sofware.

i think using virtual dub is the best solution. because i always use it to capture the screen shoot and it had so many feature for video editing.Just try it ok!

just pause the video, and print screen it. ALT-Print screen.
