Firefox Search plugin

well i unfortuneatley cannot donate to gendou (im poor myself lol) but I did create a firefox search plugin for my personal use but i would like to share it. http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=gendou&submitform=Find+search+plugins you own gendou, really appreciate the work you have done on gathering and keeping togeather such a large database of anime music!!! also if this has been done already, sorry bout it but i couldnt find it lol. follow that link to the firefox site to install the plugin. feedback would be nice :) edit: removed code as it looked to sloppy (if you want to see the code just install the search plugin and open up the .src file with notepad (can be find in \Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins |

| How do I create a plugin like that? I want to make one for a game I play but don't want to go into their homepage each time I will look a character up. A tutorial would be kewl :) |

It doesn't work for just any site. Only for those that contain the search parameters in the url of the results, aka a "GET" form as opposed to a "POST" form, for those of you familiar with your html. |

| as for a tut., i didnt use one. i just opened up of the few existing search plugins i already had installed and went off of that. it isnt that hard, just take a look at the .src files and pages u want your search plugin for sources. some sites it is really simple while others it takes time and testing. |
