Your rules say only one user per account, presumably to reduce confusion and keep spammers out. I would like put in a request for a variance to your rules. My husband, Desert Ranger and I sometimes use a single account on forums since I am more active than he. We have always identifed who is posting or making a comment. When we are together posting I normnally put this at top of our posts. Together we Ranger and Rin. When posting I we do this or use boy/girl colours. Ranger: comments or post Rin: comments or post. May we do that here please?  |

I believe it's more that he doesn't want you to share the account with people using other computers. Using it on the same computer is probably fine. |

an account is a data representation of a person. you may have at most one account for your person. you may not share accounts (i.e. account passwords). so, your husband should have his own account, and should he use yours, you are liable. glad to have you both as part of the community!

Thank you, in that case I shall have to kill by husband as he knows all of my passwords and that is the only way I shall be able to keep him out. :) I have a better idea. We'll use our jusgement and we accept our responsibility to the forum not to cause confusion or chaos. Ranger and Rin. BTW; It's always signed Ranger and Rin. Lyrically it is more nusical that Rin and Ranger. *giggles* |
