why when i dl it is an MPEG not an mp3

i am a little confused ... when i used to be able to listen to the songs on this site then dl now i only dl and they download to me as MPEGS can anyone help me over this prob |

| mp3 = MPEG version 3. Just change the file suffix (i.e., ".whatever") to ".mp3", and they should play okay. |

all of my files have the file extenuation mp3 and are correctly encoded.

| Well, when I download and save the files to my PC, they're saved with the prefix ".mp3.mpga" for some reason, which is what I thought might be happening for this guy too. I just remove the .mpga part, and it's fine. It doesn't happen when I dl & save using my Mac, so I figured it was a quirk of my computer rather than on your end. |

it renames the files?! thats really weird.... what version of Windows & Internet Explorer are you running?
