Has anyone ever seen an anime that when dubbed in english.. was done by japanese people..? (So there was an accent..)

some anime called Beck or Beet or something. about music. look it up in anime blogs says the japanese cast speaks english...to a degree. |

I saw the DBZ Movie 9: Bojack Unbound, where it was dubbed in English but done by Japanese people. It was hard to understand and out of sync as well with the lip movement.  |

There are so few decent dubs...I don't think that having it dubbed by Japanese people would automatically make it better. In fact, I think it would probably make it worse, because they'd have more trouble translating it and making the lipsynchs work.  |

The Love Hina dub was produced by Production I.G., does that count? It's a textbook example of "no one screws up anime like the Japanese themselves"... |
