Tekken Facts

Yes I know they're hard to get, but I noticed that a lot of people don't understand some stuff. As of now these are Namco's "official statements" or so I've heard. (Unless there's something different)

According to canon, Jin and Jun are cousins. (Hence Jun's Kazama surname)
Jin changed his last name. He didn't want anything to do with the Mishima family after his father's transformation.
Angel is supposedly Kazuya's good side. Angel was eliminated by Devil. Jun was murdered otherwise....
Nina is not a cyborg, but she was in cryogenic sleep for some time. She is completely human.
Technically, Jun should not have been in Tekken Tag, but since the story was not canon, it was legitimate, I guess.
I can't think of anymore, but I'll be back.

I don't know too much about the storyline. But in the anime movie, why is it that you don't see Jin Kazama in it? I haven't seen it but I only see Kazuya in the movie. And if Jin wan't born then, why is it that Lei and Nina and so on are almost the same age as they were in the movie and in Tekken 5?

This was a really good pardox until I figured it out. The anime movie is non canonical, which means it doesn't really count towards the story. Even if it did, Nina was frozen before Jin's birth, and Lei always stays the same age.

I was under the impression that Jin is the son of Kazuya and Jun. Jun is/was angel and Kazuya is devil. Or rather they both have them in them.

Actually, that is correct. Jun is theoretically Angel. It's not incorrect to say that Angel and Devil are metaphorical either. But then, that thought would lead you deeper into confusion. It did to me.

Indeed. I have had to pool my information from tekkenzaibatsu, a website dedicated to the tekken and from game faqs. There are some story faqs there that are worth checking out.
