Elfen Lied is AMAZING

I would recommend this anime to anyone [except perhaps the faint of heart]. It is beautiful and powerful with a wonderful theme song. Any other fans?  |

I'm also a fan of the series. I had all the fansubs DLed but am now purchasing the domestic DVDs due to the better quality of the video and a few extra scenes that weren't on the fansubs. Good series as it has the innocence of Chobits and then combines it with the bloodshed of Hellsing. Interesting to say the least. And yes, the main theme Lilium is awesome. I just wish I could find the music box version.

i think its ok. not into people wit horns and watched too many of the same genre type. Its really wierd like Loveless and they have 2 sets of ears and thats really wierddd too.  |

lol i totally cried in the end. The only part of the end that really made me wanna cry was with Kuruma and Mariko. That was a touching scene.

Elfen Lied is one of my favorite series. ---SPOILERS--- The ending was supposed to be vague. The person at the door-- you weren't supposed to know who it was. I think "Lucy" died, but "Nyu" was still alive-- I believe this is so because the music box tune fades (the music box practically symbolized Lucy) and the clock (which symbolized Nyu) kicked into high gear. It was still sad, but at least it gives us some possible hope that our favorite Diclonius may still be alive. ---------- As for "Lilium"...it's my favorite anime theme out of all anime themes currently. It's beautiful. Too bad the translation on the first DVD was pretty crappy. My Latin skills are kind of lame, so I used a dictionary. And the line "kyrie, ignis divine, eleison" is Greek...o_O;;     |

I hope they'll come out with an OVA or something. They can't just leave us hanging like that. Well, technically, yes they can, but it would make me cry or something. xDDD |

YEAH, ACTUALLY, THERE'S AN ELFEN LIED OAV (OR OVA), IT'S LIKE A 14TH CHAPTER. THERE, WE CAN KNOW HOW AND WHY LUCY RAN AWAY FROM THE BASE. IT'S GREAT!

Actually, episode 14 is NOT an OVA. It may explain a few things, but it's more of a flashback than anything-- and it centers around Nana, if anything. o.o |

I havent seen episode 14, then again i dont really care much about it. More than 6 months ago i got my dirty paws around this anime (i bought some bootleg dvds). Its been my fav series as of that day. Great characters (well, some of them where crying the whole damn series but i can deal with that *coughYUKAYOUSUCKcough*) nice story, and a little violence to top it off. BTW, what the hell was Yuka's problem? Always hitting on her cousin <_<.... you are COUSINS

I don't think there's anything wrong with cousins dating cousins as long as they're not, like, first cousins. Siblings dating siblings is kinda wrong, though. I mean, if you truly love someone, go for it-- but if it's your sibling, PLEASE don't have kids or they'll come out really fucked up ._.;; I agree, Gmm-- Yuka's really annoying. Just as an entire character, though. I loved everyone else though. |

haven't really watched it yet but planning to someday i hope. XD well i've read a bit of the manga and i like... er... nana and mariko. XD well the opening song is okay for me but i kinda prefer the ending. though my friends did say it's a bit strange cause it's supposed to be like bloody and such then suddenly a nice song comes on. XD though i've went around places and such and realised people definately prefer the opening. XD guess we have different tastes |
