| hey sorry that I can't donate yet, just got out of school and cost of college is not that cheap these days. so money is pretty tight here plus I don't trust paypal, I hear they sell your credit card number to other people. |

where did you hear that paypal is not to be trusted? i read their privacy policy and the only people they disclose information to is the government. of course, people have broken into their databases and stolen credit card numbers before. besides, you are more likely to have someone randomly generate your credit card number than to have someone steal it.

Paypal are actually very very good. When you set up an account they send you two activation e-mails to your own inbox and then before you can buy anything they charge you $2 (which comes off your first purchase) and when the item shows up on your credit card bill there is a security card that you type in on your next visit which activates your account fully. So in order to get hold of your paypal account the stealer/hacker/scumbag would have to not only have your credit card number but access to your e-mail adress, your paypal password and information and have access to the address of your credit card statements (and if they want my information that badly then I commend them on their efforts!) The numbers themselves are also stored on an un-networked computer so are incredibly difficult to hack. *waves paypal flag because they got me my Yami no Matsuei boxset and Saiyuki OST*

If I were running a small (unlicensed) business with hundreds of dollars coming into and out of my account, and some of those hundereds sitting in my account at a time I wouldn't trust them. I've heard about paypal locking up peoples accounts and freezing the money they have in said accounts for months at a time (around 6+), for no good reason apparently. Can read up on it more with google searches like "paypal sucks" or "paypal bad" etc. ♥♥♥Shinji |
