I'm not sure if my upload went through...

Gendou,
I was trying to upload Juno Reactor's "Guardian Angel", the Texhnolyze opening, but I think my connection might have timed out or something. After it uploaded for a while it took me to the "cannot find server" page.
Can you tell me if it uploaded properly? My connection has been screwy all night, I might have to just try again tomorrow.
(is this the most appropriate place to post this, by the way?)

hmmm, sounds like your connection either choked during the upload, or your browser does not like uploading big files. since you are using IE (so says my logs, this is correct isnt it?) then most likely Cox is just screwing up on you. my only recommendation is to try again when less people are on the network in your area, like early in the morning.

Just to point out that the file may also be *too* big... (re: 8 meg limit). I get server timeout errors when I'm uploading every now and then, and every time that happens I check the file size: not once was the file less than 8 megs.

Okay, let's see. There's a file that I attempted uploading an hour ago, but I'm not sure if it went through, because it didn't redirect me back to the request page (or wherever it is supposed to redirect me). Normally, I would have been like, "Meh, it's still uploading," but my I.E. browser says "Done" at the bottom, and it's been like that for over fifteen minutes (not including the uploading time). Did the upload work, or do I have to try again?

i dont know about IE but if it says done perhaps the send failed. you should figure out how to monitor your bandwidth so you can see if it is transferring data, meaning still uploading.
