Are this things for real?? ive read about them by the book that my friend bought with him 1 day... The book said that its opposite to black holes that means instead of sucking anything in it spits anything out even LIGHT! it also states that around it is an unknown type of energy.... ...if they are true why didnt "they" told us about it?

Though I don't think that's quite what he meant... Stars are big balls of burning gasses. White holes could theoreticly be a ball of inverse mass or 'antimater' that spews out light and repells mass. They are only something that is fun to think about as a counterpart to a black hole. There are no recorded white holes. They are just a suggested and imaginary object. |

Well in my opinion, white holes don't exist. But if they DO exist, how could they repel substances? Blackholes have gravity, whereas whiteholes..? Antigravity? Nah,, that's why I think it's just a practical joke,, ;p

Well i do thinbk that white holes may exist, but maybe we are not uderstandigt it in a good way because it its the oposite of a black hole it will not be a "hole", it must be something diferent but all have pairs then its probably that exist something that can iradiate materia instead of eat it. And remember black holes where a teory at they start too. P.S. Sorry for my bad english. |

Black holes themselves are not truly thoerically sound, also for the most part of the thoerys they emit radiation, Hawkings Radiation. This balances out balck holes so that they "suck" in and break everything down then emit it back out in a quantum state. White holes are thoerized to be a balancing idea to black holes, but black holes are already balanced.. plus does anyone even think about how something would continue to spit out engery.. i think there is a law agaisnt that.. maybe the FIRST one. White holes, wormholes, time travel.. these are science fiction.

It is possible if ther are an infinet number of universes and it has been layed out of what the big picture might look like and in between Universes like ours there are supose to be anti gravity universes witch is impossible to have in our universe because anything with mass has gravity and the anti gravity universes would be the opposite so perhape it could exist in an anitigravity universe

there are alot of thoeries of the big bang.. one with alot of mass created form nothing, or others were alot of mass was created from alot of highly concentrated mass.. to use one completely unproven thoery to suggest another is reckless

you are wrong.. there is a great distortion of space-time around a black hole, but it doesnt tear the fabric of space-time and connect to another point far away.

| Is it possible that our Universe is a white hole? Or the "space" beyond it? The Universe doesn't have a three-dimentional boarder, but it does have a boarder all the same. What's beyond it? |

somone said black holes are not theoretically sound? just imagine our sun, and all its' mass inside...lets say a basketball (i know its a bit extreme). the gravitational force there would be 1000's of times more than what it currently is, thats what a blackhole is. |

i know what a black hole is, and yes they could exist, there are several unproven paradoxs with black holes, they arnt proven science yet.

| U know yesterday i read a news paper article about science stuff and it said that scientist have found "dark energy" and it is some thing the opposite of black holes so... which one is the opposite white holes? or dark energy? But the article also said that they found out because there was a supernova explosion but the explotion was not as big as calculated, infact its getting smaller, and the reason the energy is getting smaller its because the distance between the super nove and earth are increasing , the super nova is pushed by that " dark energy", so it if there are dark energies in earth we can sort of roket into the sky and never return.....^_^ |
