What will the story be? First time I saw ZOE, it was about Idolo (when Viola was still alive). The next was Jehuty (Viola died already and a AI of her was there). A friend of mine told me there was another one after... Anyone know? |

I dout there will be one after the 2nd runner as it was all nicely rapped up nicely at the end. If there is going to be a new version it will most likely be a pre-log, Like you have to help make the resistance during the time of Jehuty and Anubis being made then you die and then at the end you steal the Jehuty as Leo just to confuse the players and to finish up the Z.O.E saga. |

If they are planning to make a third one, I hope it would be longer than the first two. Also, if they are going to have versus mode, they should put more characters and also a tag-team feature if possible. |

I like ZOE, many people tell me they only bought the first game to get the MGS2 demo... Originaly, I only got the PS2 so I could play ZOE! Anyway, a quick summary of the ZOE timeline thus far (minor, important spoilers) ZOE: Idolo Following the creation of the Orbital Frame. Its pilot, Viola's only real love falls for another woman, and is killed in an effort to save her. Zone Of the Enders: Starts right where Idolo ends... two experimental orbital frames are comissioned by BAHRAM, but captured during development by the Earth forces. BAHRAM attacks, and the first frame (Jehuty) is hijacked by a civilian youth. The second (Anubis) is recovered by BAHRAM. Againsed all odds, the youth in Jehuty vitaly damages Viola's Oribtal Frame and sends her plumeting towards Jupiter, and, following a confrontation with Anubis, escapes on an Earth comisioned shuttle and heads for Earth. ZOE: Testament/Fist of Mars: Follows an independant Martian liberation movement that captures an Earth manufactured Orbital Frame, conflict ensues and they ultimately find themselves stuck between the Earth forces and BAHRAM's military force. Paniced over Jehuty's onboard AI exhibiting suicidal intent, the youth ejects Jehuty out into space where it crash lands on Callisto (where the colony was orbiting) ZOE, Dolores: Havn't seen it, but I hear the first half takes place before ZOE2, and the second half takes place after... ZOE2, the Second Runner: Years after the events of ZOE1, a Metatron minter and former BAHRAM pilot on callisto accidentaly uncovers Jehuty during a BAHRAM raid, he hijacks it, and routs the BAHRAM forces back to their ship, where he is subsequently captured and killed. Some time later, his corpse is reanimated by a renegade BAHRAM officer, who helps him recover Jehuty. He takes the frame down to Mars to assist the remaining Earth forces, and ultimately leads the charge againsed BAHRAM's main military complex. The confrontation becomes more complicated when Anubis engages Jehuty in the fortress, the battle is draged upwards through means I won't disclose, and Anubis and Jehuty, damaged beyond resonable recognition, engage in their final duel in the core of a super weapon that only they can activate, which is capable of destroying the solar system. Ultimately, there is still some room in ZOE to evolve. While BAHRAM was ultimately trounced, the overwhelming opression againsed people from Mars, and desire for liberty among the space faring people remains unresolved. While Elenna did promise to 'make' the Earth forces stop opressing humans in space, she is an enlisted civilian, and doesn't realy have that much power. I'm looking foreward to seeing something that involves Mars rising up againsed Earth to settle their differences once and for all. (Here's hoping Leo will be playable again!) |
